The Being in Motion festival and its organisers Being in Motion Arts, have evolved into a creative agency and multi media events company.

Rather than limit ourselves to one successful but specialised festival a year, we have been collaborating with a broad range of event organisers and private clients to provide stage design, programming and production management services.

Using our specialisation in music, visual and performance related events we have been working with festivals, events companies, venues and arts organisations, to provide creatively stimulating and culturally aware experiences in a warm, entertaining and social environment.

Being in Motion has become respected for:

-Designing and producing themed events, parties, stages and theatrical shows.
-Designing and producing exhibitions and one-off outdoor installations.
-Programming live music, visuals, light shows and screenings.
-Providing themed walk about performers and comperes.
-Designing graphics, video and animation unique to each event.
-Providing event staff and managers.
-Providing projectors, lighting, sound systems and stages.
-Designing stages and themed décor, to be made to order by artisans.

We develop event design both independently and in collaboration with our clients, dependent on their needs. With our routes in arts festivals, we pride ourselves on the highest level of unique and memorable creative quality in performing artists and event design.

We will continue to do a yearly ‘Being in Motion festival’ showcase of the artists we work with and the style of environments we like to design, to which you are all welcome to continue coming to sample the experience.

4/07 - Provision door staff for Glade Festival ‘Stir’ parties in Heaven, London.

2/07 - Programming of 15 walkabout performers for Lovebox’s ‘Love Thing’ parties at Parker Macmillan in Liverpool st, London. Theme: 80’s New Wave meets 60’s ‘ hair spray’.

12/06 - Programming of walkabout performance/staged performance and character compere + for Secret Garden Christmas Party @ Notting Hill Arts Club, London.

10/06 - Provision of event manager and assistant production coordinator for the opening of the Kinetica Museum of Electronic, interactive and experimental art in Spitalfields market. Also consulted on recruitment over the past two years.

9/06 - Provision of character compere and dj for open mic tent at the Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

8/06 - Project Managing of medieval circus/cabaret for Secret Garden Festival near Huntingdon. Including provision of show design/programming and outdoor stage design and building. Also, pjjrovision of event manager and compere for open mic on the stage during the day.

7/06 - Project Managing of outdoor ambient soundsystem at Groove Armada’s Lovebox festival in Victoria Park. Including provision of event manager and programming. Also, provision of character compere and programming consultancy for Continental Drift’s music and performance tent.
